I am not a big fan of quantitative analysis, but I had to take the class for my MBA. This book was very well written, and it does a good job of explaining how to do the problems that are being discussed. The pictorial diagrams in the book was also very helpful in showing the steps that are needed to get the answer that you are looking for. This book offers many other places to go and gets some more help with statistics. This book is a very good book for students have a background in calculus based statistics as this is an advanced book, but it is a great textbook. Anyone who has to take quantitative analysis and this is your textbook you should buy it here you will get a better price.
I used this text for school and found it explained concepts well and provided detailed examples. The book was laid out so you could first figure out an example for yourself, then walk through it step-by-step with their instructions. Also both manual and programmatic solutions were provided, with a lot of guidance for using Excel.

Great book, excellent examples and I got an A in my class
This might be a great book, but was listed as a 13th edition, it is not the paperback form of the 13th edition, it is the 11th edition. I wasted money purchasing a useless book. Was really let down... very misleading!
